What install day looks like
Most single-family installs take a few hours. Wireless sensors keep drywall work down. The keypad goes on a wall you walk past — usually a hallway or kitchen.
You should be home. You pick a master code, a backup number for ADT to try, and whether you want cameras. Same-day and next-day windows are common in Hillsborough and central Pinellas.
Buying a house that already has an ADT keypad? Photograph it and mention it on the call. Reactivation is often faster than replacing everything.
Permits and HOAs
The City of Tampa does not require a residential alarm permit. Many Pinellas addresses need registration (SHARP or a city program in St. Petersburg or Clearwater). We flag that on the quote.
HOA and condo rules are handled on the same call. Some buildings limit outdoor cameras. Monitoring still works.
